Description
Most customers purchasing this strain name their pets “Casper,” “Ghost,” “Silk,” “Cotton,” “Milk,” or “Snow.” It’s not difficult to see why. Although not entirely 100% white, the Snow White discus is as close as you’ll get without getting into super premium Albino strains. The stark white patternless color scheme of this fish breaks up the monotony in collection that is otherwise a sea of color and patterns. A hybrid discus collector should always have at least 1 of these discus in their collection for this reason.
This glistening pale Discus isn’t completely red-eyed the way a true albino would be, but it’s about as close as you can get. And while it’s named the “Snow White”, this particular hybrid puts us more in mind of the White Witch from Narnia. In the world of Narnia, the White Witch was the last of her kind, a near-immortal would-be queen who destroyed an entire world with the utterance of a single word. We hope for your sake that the Snow White you choose isn’t that powerful. Things could get awkward at home if your witch-fish uses her magic to prolong winter indefinitely, or starts turning her political enemies to stone. But on the plus side, if you give one of these beauties a home in your tank, it may well offer you some delicious Turkish delight in exchange for a cube of freeze-dried
black worms.*
